Dress Code

Trevose is a relaxed and informal venue, with the focus on making all members, guests and visitors feel welcome. Consequently, an informal standard of dress is accepted in the clubhouse during the day. We simply ask that everyone observes the following guidelines.

Championship Course

A respectable standard of golfing dress is expected at all times. Jeans, singlets, non-collared T-shirts and non-golfing shoes are not considered appropriate.

Please note that metal spikes are not permitted.

If you are unsure about what to wear, please feel free to contact us in advance and our team will be happy to help.

Headland & Short Courses

A more relaxed dress code is welcomed on our Headland and Short Courses. We simply ask that ripped jeans and singlets are not worn.

The Clubhouse

Our clubhouse is relaxed and welcoming. When using the bar and restaurant, we simply ask everyone to dress appropriately and be considerate of those around them.

T-shirts are welcome provided they are smart and do not feature offensive logos or wording, although collared polo shirts are always a great option.

Please note: Hats of any kind, singlets, ripped jeans or trousers and bare feet are not permitted inside the clubhouse at any time.

In the evenings, gentlemen wishing to use the bar after 8.30pm, or dining in the restaurant, are asked to wear trousers. Shorts may be worn when dining earlier in the evening; however, if you wish to remain in the bar after 8.30pm, we kindly ask that you change into trousers.

Thank you for helping us maintain a relaxed and welcoming environment for everyone. Please don’t be offended if a member of our team asks you to adhere to the dress code – they’re simply helping us maintain the standards of the Club.

Visitor Information

Visitors’ Playing Days

We welcome visitors every day of the week throughout the year. Please note that there are some member-only start times, and we recommend checking the Club Diary for tournaments and events before making a reservation.

Visitors wishing to play the Championship Course should bring a certified handicap certificate, as this may be required prior to play.

Prices

All prices stated are inclusive of VAT where applicable and are correct at the time of publishing.

Data Protection

Any personal information provided when submitting a booking request will be used to process and respond to your request and, where appropriate, to keep you up to date with news from the Club.

If you would prefer not to receive future communications from us, please let our Front Desk team know.

Locker Rooms

There are no individual lockers available for visitors. If you have any items that require secure storage, please speak to a member of our team who will be happy to assist.

Mobile Phones

We kindly ask that mobile phones are kept on silent while in the clubhouse and on the golf courses. Voice calls should not be made in these areas.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted within any of the Club’s buildings, including all accommodation.

Pace of Play

We are committed to maintaining a good pace of play so that everyone can enjoy their round. You can help us by being ready to play when it is your turn and keeping up with the group in front.

If your group is approached by a Course Ranger regarding pace of play, we kindly ask that you follow their guidance and do what is necessary to regain your position on the course.

Adverse Weather

There is no weather warning system at Trevose. Visitors who choose to remain on the course during adverse weather conditions, particularly thunder and lightning, do so at their own risk.

Gratuities

We value our team and encourage the highest standards of service throughout Trevose. If you would like to show your appreciation, gratuities can be left at Reception and will be added to the Staff Fund.
