ACCOMMODATION CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Following the latest government guidelines we have closed our accommodation effective immediately until further notice. All customers who have already booked to stay with us between closure (20 March 2020) and 3 July will be offered a refund, or the option to defer their trip to another date within the next 12 months (see below COVID-19 terms & conditions). The situation will continue to be reviewed according to government guidelines.
NEW FLEXIBLE BOOKING TERMS DUE TO COVID-19
During this difficult period for the hospitality and travel industry, we have temporarily changed our booking policy to, we hope, still enable you to plan ahead but with a high degree of flexibility.
We want to help as much as we can and, currently, our cancellation policy stands at 72 hours, however if you do fall ill and need to cancel your visit within the 72 hour period we will defer your booking to another available date within 12 months of the original booking.
New bookings taken between closure (20 March 2020) and 3 July 2020 will have their deposits fully refunded* if cancelled up to 72 hours prior to arrival, or they will be transferable for up to 12 months ahead where customers have changed circumstances.
All bookings transferred to a future date will retain the same value, such that any variation in the cost will need to be taken into consideration.
We will be flexible with all existing bookings and should any guest need to cancel due to COVID-19 related travel restrictions, or not wish to travel due to anxiety surrounding COVID-19, then we will allocate their deposit against a future stay anytime within the next 12 months from the date of amendment.
*A small administrative fee will apply

Terms and conditions (for all accommodation bookings)
Payment and deposit
A non-refundable deposit of one night’s accommodation is payable at the time of booking if this is made over 4 weeks prior to arrival, otherwise full payment will be required. No bookings can be confirmed until this payment has been received by Trevose Ltd. The deposit will be credited against your final account.
The outstanding balance must be paid 28 days prior to arrival. In the event of bookings made within four weeks of the commencement of the occupancy period, payment of the entire accommodation fee is required as a condition of the booking.
Any no-show will be charged 100% of the total accommodation fee.
For cancellations within 28 days of arrival a 100% charge of your total booking will apply. All deposits are non-refundable.
Refunds cannot be made for rooms that are not occupied for the full period that has been booked.
We recommend that you purchase cancellation insurance from a reputable service provider as we do not provide cancellation insurance ourselves.
Occupancy must not exceed the number of beds provided.
No sub-letting is allowed.
No caravans or tents are permitted on the Company’s property.
Arrival and departure
Guests may arrive early and are welcome to use the club’s facilities, but check-in is not until 5pm. On your day of departure, please vacate your room by 09.30am. Departing guests are welcome to use the facilities on their day of departure. We request that all accommodation is left in a clean and tidy state.
Anyone intending to arrive after 5.30pm is advised to phone the Club in advance to get a code for the key box where their accommodation key will be stored.
Residents must book all golf in advance at reception and green fee tags must be displayed on your golf bag at all times. Payment can be added to your account and settled on departure. Trevose Ltd accepts no liability for any personal injury suffered whilst playing golf (players are advised to ensure they have adequate personal liability cover, as Trevose Ltd does not provide such cover for visiting players).
Residents are permitted to use the onsite fitness studio at no extra charge. Trevose Ltd accepts no liability for any personal injury suffered whilst using the fitness studio. While using the facilities you accept responsibility for your state of health and physical condition. You should not take part in any physical activity that you may not be fit for. SPECIAL COVID-19 NOTICE (12/06/20): We regret to say the fitness studio will remain closed until further notice.
Tennis and swimming:
Tennis courts must be booked at reception in advance. Payment for all bookings may be added to your account and settled on departure.
Residents are granted free access to the swimming pool. Please note that whilst there will be a pool attendant during opening hours in the month of August, Trevose Ltd accepts no liability for any personal injury or accident. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult if using the swimming pool. Children’s play area:
We have a children’s play area and we ask that children are supervised by an adult at all times when using this facility. Trevose Ltd accepts no liability for any accidents caused during the use of this area. Personal loss or damage
All fittings, furniture, crockery and effects destroyed or damaged must be repaired or replaced with others of equal value otherwise such articles must be paid for to the full value.
The Company shall not be liable for loss or damage to any property belonging to the occupants in any of the accommodation howsoever such loss or damage may be caused.
Discounted rates and special offers are subject to availability. Your room rate will be confirmed at the time of booking; we regret that we cannot change the rate or terms of your stay once a booking has been confirmed.
VAT is included at the current rate but these prices are subject to change if VAT rises above 20%. The effective rate of VAT is determined by the rate at the time you make a payment to us. If VAT rises after you have made a deposit payment on your stay, the balance of your charge will be increased to reflect the increase in the rate of VAT, if that rate is above 20%.
Maintenance & improvements
As the Club is open all year round, you may find that there is necessary maintenance, development or refurbishment work taking place during your visit. We will endeavour to keep any noise and inconvenience to a minimum.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all accommodation and inside areas of the Club.
Occupants are requested to turn down the sound of televisions and music between 10pm and 8am.
No washing, clothes or other articles, shall be hung or exposed outside any of the accommodation.
All visitors are subject to the rules of the Club which are displayed in the Clubhouse.
