Mackenzie & Ebert appointed to create design blue print

As part of our ongoing efforts to make continued improvements at the Club, we recently instructed international golf course architects, Mackenzie & Ebert, to review the existing layouts of our golf portfolio, focussing specifically on the Championship and Headland Courses. This will create the blue print for improvements over the next 5 to 7 years.

Mackenzie & Ebert come with a very impressive reputation and portfolio that includes some of world’s great courses – and current projects include the redesign of the Trump Turnberry Ailsa Course and the Dunluce and Valley Courses at Royal Portrush.

Click here to read their initial report (stage 1), complete with recommendations for changes to the 2nd, 9th and 13th holes on the Championship Course. These modifications will be carried out over the coming weeks with minimum interruption to the golf course.

Should you wish to discuss these changes at greater length please feel free to contact Nick Gammon on 01841 520208 – or, alternatively, pop in to the office when you are next up at the Club to arrange an appointment.

Happy golfing to you all.
