46 additional cyclists joined the 3 day riders on Sunday 22nd June for the 3rd and final day from Danes Hill School in Oxshott, Surrey.  As a collective group of 170 riders, they cycled back to Trinity Fields in Wandsworth, London to join their families and friends at the well out Emily’s Fun Day organised in memory of 8 year old Emily Milligan, a pupil at Finton House School.

Victoria Milligan, Nick’s wife and Emily’s mother, said “We wanted to raise money for something tangible and relevant; the money raised so far will make a real difference and leave lasting legacies in their memory.”

Having achieved so much already the goal is now to raise an incredible £500,000, in order that RNLI and Child Bereavement UK each receive £250,000.  Donations can be made to the two charities via The Milligan Bike Ride website: www.milliganbikeride.com and the Virgin Money Giving page to support their charitable work.

Trevose plays host to the start of epic charity cycle. Sponsored by Savills estate agents, on Friday 20th June 2014, 124 riders set off from Trevose for the start of their 300 mile bike ride over 3 days to London. They took part in The Milligan Bike Ride which is raising money for RNLI and Child Bereavement UK in the aftermath of the tragic speedboat accident over the bank holiday weekend in May 2013 in the Padstow estuary, which took the lives of Nick and Emily Milligan.
