Luke Donald dopped in to Trevose last Friday to play a friendly round on the Championship Course. The former world number 1 was in Cornwall on his brother’s “stag” weekend, and was due to play at St Enodoc on the Saturday.

Donald was the first player ever to win the PGA money list in America and the European Tour Race to Dubai in 2011, holding the top spot for a total of 55 weeks. It’s thought he chose Trevose to aid his preparation plans for the US Masters next month…or at least that’s what we like to think (yes he did comment on the amazing speed of our greens)!
